Perché sostenibile?

Lyocell proviene da fibre vegetali biodegradabili al 100%.

Una delle fonti più comuni di Lyocell sono gli alberi di

eucalipto, che possono crescere letteralmente ovunque,

anche nei terreni più aridi non più adatti alla

coltivazione di cibo.

La sua lavorazione viene effettuata utilizzando un solvente

chimico non tossico ed oltretutto riutilizzabile al 99%; per

cui il rilascio in natura è comunque quasi inesistente.

Inoltre, nel processo produttivo del filato, che è più rapido,

viene utilizzata molta meno acqua ed energia.

Why is it sustainable?

Lyocell comes from 100% biodegradable plant fibres.

One of the most common sources of Lyocell is the

eucalyptus tree, which can literally grow everywhere,

even in the driest lands no longer suitable

for growing food.

The fabric processing is carried out utilizing a chemical

solvent which is not toxic and 99% reusable; consequently

the impact on the environment is almost unexistant

Moreover, in the yarn production process, which is quicker,

less water and energy is utilized.
